OUR PLAY GROUND GAMES!

4 CORNERS

*Determine by draw who will occupy the central circle... The other players take place on each an angle base (corner). Following the signal given by the player in the central circle, all players must change place and the central circle player will attemp to take place in an angle base(corner). When that player takes place in an angle base corner, then the game stops and the player left without an angle base (corner) looses his place and must go in the central circle...and the game starts over again. (similar to musical chair)

LETTERS HOST GAME

*Determine someone who will be the dictionnary (a person who will call the words)...The players must attempt to spell the word by jumping on the letters without falling on the right or left leg. If he/she makes a mistake, then another player takes his/her place and tries to make the word. The player continues with other words until a mistake is made.

CALCULATING HOPSCOTCH

*Before beginning, a decision will be taken to play the game by either adding, substracting, dividing or multiplying... The player named the CHIEF will call a number (total)..and the first team will place themselves on the game in a manner to find the total... The first team plays until a mistake is made. Then the other team takes place...

 KING GAME

*The King is the player that takes place on the paw in the triangle and 3 other players take place in the 3 other squares. The King drops the ball and by hitting it with his/her hands tries to have the ball to go in another square...The ball cannot touch the circle and the lines around the circle. If the ball goes to the exterior, the King is eliminated. Note: The ball must make one bound in the other player square, then he/she can hit it back... Player is out if: Ball makes 2 bounds in his square - Ball touches the circle or lines around - Ball falls outside of playing area - Ball is thrown (not hit).

 TIC TAC TOC GAME (TOE)

*Make 2 equal teams...Player A takes place where he/she wants in any square of the game..Then player B takes place the same way...The game goes on until 3 players from the same team makes a line (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal)

SOME HOPSCOTH GAMES AND MORE

*The basic rules to remember are that you can only have 1 foot in each square and remember to hop over the square with the rock in it. The first player throws their rock onto the first square. They then hop over that square on one foot. On double squares you must land with your feet side by side. Turn around and come back the same way only when you get to the square with your rock ...you must balance on one foot and pick up your rock. If completed with no mistakes then the player goes again and throws their rock to the 2nd square and so on...You must not at any time: step on a line, miss a square or lose your balance. If you do any of those 3 things your turn is over..

If the player catches the ball, he then throws it back to a player of the opposite team...and so on.

*Each player is a game piece..In turn, the players throw the dice and take place on the appropriate number..The first player to start is the first one to obtain a 6 on the dice..
